Sadly, haute couture is slowly dying. Mr. Lacroix ended his HC collection last year. To me, HC is art. The pics here cannot show how delicate the pieces are. Every embroidery is hand-stitched onto the garments. It takes hundreds of hours/days to finish a dress. Although I'll probably never be able to afford a HC dress, I still hope that this industry will never perish.
