the impossible wishlist

27.10.10

So today, I logged on to Net-A-Porter (which is the worst place for a girl who isn't rich) and started browsing.
I found so many pieces that I want NOW! I'd like to share them with you. Tell me what you think!

A song to end this post.
I apologize for the bad aligning of photos...I suck at blogging.

My new job starts on 01/11 so, just a few more days of freedom. Hopefully, I'll be able to blog while working full-time. I really want to do outfit posts...soon?

blocks of colour

26.10.10

This is an editorial by Craig McDean from Vogue Italia Oct. 2010.
It reminds me again of Edward Hopper, along with the Fendi ad for Fall/Winter that KL shot. Also, some shots make me think of David Lynch...don't know why. The ed has some really nice garments and looks.

Fall is actually almost over, so I decided to grow(cut?have?) bangs again, aka Japanese girl very thick and geeky bangs. (It was so hot during the summer, I had to let my bangs grow and clip it aside.)
FYI: I've had the same type of bangs since I was 16! My hairdresser finds it "unchallenging and boring" to do my hair.

all for now

every girl's dream

24.10.10

I'm pretty sure most of you have already heard about the notorious
Bal Masqué de Vogue Paris. Well, if you haven't, here are some photos to prove why this bal was every girl's dream. So here goes:

If the photos weren't mind-blowing enough, here's another OMG fact: the party was held at Mr. Karl Lagerfeld's appartement in the 7e of Paris!

So, why can't we "normal citizens" have such cool parties?
argh Life's so unfair.
That's all for the party. Now, I need your help!
I seriously need to go on a diet, but would like to know if you have any special diet meals or methods that you'd like to share with me! Nothing lethal, please! Thanks so much!!

whistles

(all photos from whistles)

This is one of the many brands I adore.
They have such simple, chic, girly and rather French-romantic (though it's British) garments. However girls, don't get excited too fast. Beautiful clothes come with ugly price tags. Check out their online shop and see for yourselves. I actually forgot to visit Whistles while I was in London. Bummer. But maybe it's a good thing since I wouldn't be able to afford anything at the time.

That's all for today, bisou!

A special thanks to STYLE.COM for giving every fashionista the opportunity of seeing these wonderful creations of these geniuses.

Hello my lovely readers, sorry again for the overload of pics...I basically skipped Marni because I have a post dedicated to the brand.
What do you think of the first model at Haider Ackermann? Her body is just scary to me. The fashion industry should really think again what effect these girls will have on young(naïve?) girls.

That's all folks. Can't wait for the next Fashion Week...ciao for now!

Givenchy
If you go through my previous posts, you'll probably notice I'm not a risk taker. But after seeing this look at Givenchy, I fell in love. The vest is just gorgeous!!

The Row
I absolutely love what the Olsen twins have done at The Row. It's simple, chic also very well tailored and structured. I would wear every piece everywhere.

Emanuel Ungaro
I wonder what Lindsay thinks when she sees how much progress Giles Deacon has made for Ungaro. So feminine yet super sexy, and the show was just divine. But where the hell can normal people where these pieces to? I wish I had millions of parties or balls to attend...
Céline
Although I'm still a "Philophile", to be honest I wasn't the biggest fan of Phoebe's recent collection. All the pieces are wearable (unlike Ungaro above) but no WOW effects. Guess I'm asking too much from PP. Don't get me wrong, I still love her! :-)

All for now, will do a detail post soon.
